The Hotel Bumi Minang is a four-star hotel with business centre, local and Japanese restaurants, bar, café, gift shops, swimming pool and other mod cons. It is located in the centre of town, about a 5-7 minute walk from the beach promenade, a 10 minute walk from the central market, and a 15-20 minute walk from the river and the port.

The Bumi Minang Hotel has kindly agreed to provide ALT particpants with a 45% corporate discount. Following are the rates for ALT participants (inclusive of 21% government tax, service charges, and breakfast). The rates are given in Rupiah. (For a rough conversion to Euros at the time of writing, divide by 10,000, or simply chop off the last four digits.)
